Located in the quaint neighborhood of Arcadia in Sunny Southern California, GKd Studios is the brainchild of Geoff Dunbar. Geoff has been running his recording studio for the past 15 years. He first opened his studio in Palm Desert, CA in 1994 where he specialized in band demos. In 1996 he moved his studio to Burbank, CA where he recorded music for Film and T.V. He has had compositions featured in several Indy films. He has also placed music in T.V. programs on every major network. During this time he began working on the Universal Studios back lot with Viacom where he was involved with music and post-production duties on several T.V. programs and Movies of the Week.

It was during his time at Viacom he developed working relationships with all the major Audio Post-production companies in the Los Angeles area. In 1998 he moved his studio to Pasadena where he began to focus his efforts on Voice over artists and singer/songwriters. He also began to create music for the internet and launched his own publishing company called Drumbar Music. This same company also launched an independent record label and released recordings for variuos bands in the Los Angeles area. In the summer of 2001 Geoff moved his studio for the last time to Arcadia, CA. GKd Studios was hatched as a professional studio dedicated to a casual recording atmosphere with a professional attitude.
